New York’s Snowpocalpyse 2015

It’s the blizzard that wasn’t — at least not for New Yorkers. New York City was completely shut down, curfew enforced and all, leading up to Juno, the name of what was said to potentially be one of the most historic blizzards of all time.

It’s crazy to think that a year ago today I was on a plane to Australia, excited to be back to the warm summer sun and Little Mount. But today, I spent the early morning and the late afternoon walking around my neighborhood, remembering just how exciting and magical snow days can really be (pre-slush of course), and remembering what it was like to be a kid rushing out the door to go sledding at Owl’s Head Park.
